FILM REVIEW 33 -- The Red Shoes

This is a Korean film that was released sometime in 2005 and directed by Yong-gyun Kim! If you like Asian horrors or simply enjoy ghost stories, I say go for it!

  1. I watched it on Netflix when I still had it. I thought it started off well but it wasn't the best one in their collection. I liked the one which they called "The Ghost" (2004) - AKA Ryeong.

  2. I am a big fan of Asian horror, so I will look for this one, Zena! Thanks for reviewing it! The picture you posted from the movie is enough to make me seek it out. Very intriguing!

By the way, I also loved your video! Very well done! :)
Those red shoes are just perfect for you too! Just make sure you show them who's the boss. But, I'm sure those ghosts are no match for The Real Queen of Horror! :)

    1. That's how the movie got me, Chris--the cover! A bloody heel--I love heels so I was curious. :x

Lol. I'll try to show them that I'm the boss! Thanks for watching! ^_^

  3. I've picked this one up before but never quite bought it. I may pick it up now though!

I have a competition going on my page, I think it's right up your alley!

    Keep up the good work,

    Michael.

  4. Hahaha! Charles is so funny! I love how he happens to carry a medical mask in the car, just in case. :) I was seriously just laughing out loud over here. Well, the shoes you found were a lot better (and more red) than the ones in the movie. What was up with those pink pumps? They weren't even tempting as used, abandoned shoes go! Despite the appearance of the shoes, that sounds like a good movie!

    1. I felt that way too! When I saw the movie, I didn't get how women were so interested in the shoes. I personally wouldn't care! But with the shoes I used as an example--I would have been curious but after seeing that movie now ay would pick up an abandoned pair of shoes. No matter how fabulous they were!

It was a pretty good movie, somewhat gore though.

      Thanks for watching, Justine! :)

  9. No pair of shoes, no matter how gorgeous, is worth flatulence and bad breath! I'm with Charles on this one. Haha.
