HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME -- NATIONAL HORROR DAY!

Happy BELATED Birthday...!

On January 6th, the Real Queen of Horror was born!

(Isn't THAT an awesome cake?!)

I said it LAST YEAR guys. January 6th will be a national horror holiday, where people watch horror movies in my honor and I'm still pushing for it! On that day I wanted people to watch a horror movie of their choice, in honor of ME!

On January 6th, I got acknowledgements and gifts by people who are important, that's always awesome! And more important, hopefully people watched a horror movie...even those who SAY they don't like horror movies, just watch ONE in my honor!

Let's keep HORROR alive & glorious!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Robert Englund!

I just had to do a special post dedicated to Robert Englund, one of the most AWESOMEst men in horror, and wish him a happy birthday! Today, our horror legend is 65 years old. Thank you for frightening my childhood, making me want to get a crucifix, and never allowing me to sleep again. You're incredible!
As Freddy Krueger in Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street, he hanunted kids dreams with his irreplacebable performance! This ultimately made him famous. Sucks to be dude who TRIED to play Freddy Krueger in the remake of Nightmare on Elmstreet, Jackie Earle Haley. It's hard shoes to fill and let's just face it, Mr. Haley, you looked like a fish. Better luck next time!

In recent news with our beloved, Robert Englund appeared as himself in the Call of Duty: Black Ops zombies map pack, “Call of the Dead“. How awesome is that?

Let's honor is birthday and enjoy one of his classic, timeless horror performances of your choice! Is there a certain Robert Englund performace that stands out to you?

 If so! Let me know!

Happy Birthday to me!

Happy Birthday...!
Today the Real Queen of Horror was born!

Sometimes I really do dislike where my birthday falls because I always feel that January is the recovery month: recovery from your finances being shot from Christmas, unwanted house guests, and even recovery from completely going off your schedule and not doing what you usually do! Also, another reason why I dislike it is because I'm usually older than people who were born the same year as myself.

I'd usually feel like an oldie mcHOLY pants. So not fun. :\ HOWEVER!!! I always did love where my birthday falls because it's a brand new REFRESHING year! Some people feel guilty for forgetting my birthday so I usually get awesome gifts. ^_^! Also, because my parents wedding anniversary (34 years!!!) is on the 8th, I not only get gifts for my day, but I also get gifts for theirs, too.

This birthday is going to be fantastical! One day, January 6th will be a national horror holiday! So, mark your calendars! This is the day to watch a horror movie of your choice, in honor of ME! Just thought I'd share!
