I recently checked out SCORNED and decided to do a review! Duh! It's a film focusing on a woman who catches her boyfriend cheating and now she wants revenge. Not the simple revenge but the violent, torturous kind!

This film was released recently and I thought it fit perfectly with the films I've been reviewing for  Women in Horror Month!!!

This film opens with an unknown man who is committing necrophilia in a morgue. It’s gross, it’s disturbing but it’s the film.

FILM -- V/H/S/2

The first V/H/S focused on guys in a creepy house, watching various discovered videos that are among a stack of VHS tapes.

So, I volunteered to watch the independent film Conjoined, which was directed Joe Grisaffi. I hadn't heard of it before, but I did see a couple of pictures. I still wasn't too sure what I was getting myself into.

We should all know the 80s series Child’s Play. If you don’t, you disgust me. Back in ’88, the first Child’s Play introduced the world to Andy Barclay, a young, innocent boy who was terrorized by a doll named Chucky.

TV SHOW -- The Walking Dead Returns October 13th, 2013!

OH MY GOODNESS, guys! The Walking Dead is coming back!  I'm super excited and have been looking forward to seeing it since well, season 3 ended in December.

This one takes place toward the end of WWII. Russian soldiers are pushed into Germany and stumble across a secret Nazi lab. In the lab, scientists begin experimenting from the journal of Dr. Viktor Frankenstein. They use Dr. Frankenstein's work to assemble an army of super soldiers, stitched together from body parts of their fallen comrades.

Could be good, right?

Looks like we have a psychological haunting story on our hands!

But once there, the trip begins to take a turn that will leave no one safe.

Grabbers - RELEASE DATE: July 19th, 2013 A quaint Irish fishing village is tormented by an invasion of squid-like creatures.


Under the Bed - RELEASE DATE: July 19th, 2013 In this film, every child knows about the monster under the bed, but Neal Hausman's mistake was trying to fight it. Now, Neal has returned from a two-year exile following his tragic attempt to defeat the monster. He comes back to find his father closer to a breakdown, his new stepmother scared of him, and his little brother terrorized by the same monster. So, this film is somewhat connected to The Ring. Remember the whole haunted video tape passed from different people spreading the curse? Well, yeah, with the technology these days, it's not only a tape anymore! Sadako, the vicious spirit, is waiting to kill. She's hungry and wants souls and blood. Her hunger may be fed at a local high school where there is talk about a video online of someone committing suicide. So...yeah.

V/H/S 2 - RELEASE DATE: June 6th, 2013
This follow-up of the film goes in further to the demented path. It's a modern horror filled with new discoveries. The sadistic videos of V/H/S 2 are a result of a second generation with even more gore, horror and madness within this all new anthropology.
