UPCOMING HORROR -- You're Next

You're Next was directed by Adam Wingard and will be released this Friday on August 23rd. The film is about a family under attack during their wedding anniversary getaway. The mysterious killers that attack the family soon learn that one of the victims may have a secret talent in order to fight back.

Guys, I'm going to be honest...I'm not convinced with this film. It seems a bit typical, like we seen it one too many times. It reminds me of Funny Games, The Strangers and The Purge....ugh, should I go on? Maybe I'll be surprised with this one but I'm not too sure!

The film Twixt was written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola and will be released on July 23rd, 2013 so keep your eyes peels! Anyone looking forward to this film?


SYNOPSIS: A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. Later in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but he is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately, he is led to the truth of the story.

I absolutely love the Hatchet series! Hatchet III will be released on June 14th, 2013. As you can see Danielle Harris return in this one, she's also joined by Kane Hodder, Zach Galligan, Derek Mears, Caroline Williams, Sean Whalen and some others.







The film continues to focus on Victor Crowley. In this one, a search/recovery team goes into the haunted swap to basically clean up the disaster that was left behind from the first two films. One of the search/recovery members, Marybeth (Danielle Harris), finds out the true secret to end the voodoo curse that has left the ghost of Victor Crowley terrorizing Honey Island Swamp for decades!

I'm excited about this! I'm sure they probably filmed in New Orleans again! UGH! I'd love to have been on set...one can dream, I suppose!
