Did you know that Death Note is going to be an actual movie?
Yep, it's all thanks to Warner Bros! This film will be the latest adaption of the popular horror manga series.
For those who are unfamiliar with Death Note, it followed a notebook with very unusual and deadly ability. It follows a high school student named Light Yagami who discover a weird notebook called the "Death Note". When the book's owner writes the name of the person and the way they die, it comes true not too long after. Being nosey, Light begins to test the book and eventually uses it in an effort to rule as a God over the earth. Clearly...this kid has control issues!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adam Wingard (The Guest, You're Next) will be directing film Death Note! Before Mr. Adam Wingard dives into this project, he will direct the upcoming thriller The Woods this summer.
